To get an organization answering with AI from scratch, follow these steps in order. Each one depends on the previous one, so you avoid going back to fix missing pieces.

  1. Team. Create the teams, such as sales and support, and invite members with their role. See Team.
  2. Channels. Connect the WhatsApp number and set its default team. See Channels.
  3. Knowledge base. Create one with your company’s official information and wait until every source is Ready. See Knowledge bases.
  4. Agent. Create it with its handoff team, create a version that uses that knowledge base, test it and publish it. See Agents.
  5. Default agent on the channel. Set that agent as the number’s default agent, or build a flow that calls it. See Default agent.
  6. Intents and flows. Define what happens when a customer asks for a person, complains or wants to unsubscribe. See Intents and flows.
  7. Templates. Create the templates you will use to start conversations and broadcasts, and submit them for approval. See Templates.
  8. Audience. Tag contacts, record their consent and build the segments. See Audience.
  9. Broadcast. Create, quote, approve and send, then review the skipped recipients and their reasons. See Broadcasts.
  10. Follow-up. Check analytics weekly and the wallet before every bulk send. See Analytics and wallet.
